How to Make Chinese Spring Rolls.

Ingredients For Chinese Spring Rolls.

100 Gm Plain Flour or Maida.
150 Gm Grated Cabbage.
150 Gm Grated Carrot.
2 medium size finely chopped Onions.
1 Tbsp Oil.
1 tbsp Chopped Garlic.
1 tbsp Chopped Ginger.
100 Gm Green Peas.
1 tbsp Vinegar.
1 tbsp Green Chili Sauce.
1-2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce.
1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup.
1 tsp Black Pepper.
Some Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves.
Salt According to taste.
Oil for Deep Frying.
250 ml Water for Batter.
4-5 chopped Green Chillies.

Ingredients

  • 100 Gm Plain Flour or Maida.
  • 150 Gm Grated Cabbage.
  • 150 Gm Grated Carrot.
  • 2 medium size finely chooped Onions.
  • 1 Tbsp Oil.
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic.
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Ginger.
  • 100 Gm Green Peas.
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar.
  • 1 tbsp Green Chili Sauce.
  • 1-2 tbsp Dark Soya Sauce.
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup.
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper.
  • Some Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves.
  • Salt Accourding to taste.
  • Oil for Deep Frying.
  • 250 ml Water for Batter.
  • 4-5 chopped Green Chillies.

Instructions

  • In a big mixing bowl add 100 Gms Plain flour then add 150 ml water and mix it very well to make liquidy better, again add 100 ml water and again mix it very well, now the batter is ready.
  • Heat non stick pan when it get's heated remove it from stove and put the liquidy batter and spread it equally and cook it for 30-40 seconds, now the spring roll sheet is ready, let it cool down for 15-20 seconds.
  • Take it out very carefully otherwise it will be destroyed, first remove the edges then slowly-slowly take it out and sprinkle some plain flour on it so it dont stick with other sheets.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil when it gets heated add Garlic and some Ginger stir it well, now add onions and cook it little.
  • Now in this add Cabbage and Carrots and mix it very well, now add Green Peas, vinegar, green chili sauce, dark soya sauce, tomato ketchup and again mix it very well.
  • Now add Black pepper and cook it little, now add some coriander leaves and mix it very well now the stuffing for spring roll ready.
  • Take one Spring roll sheet and put some vegetable mixture on one side of it, start folding it from back then apply some gulue ( made from plain flour & water ) on the edges so it can be sealed nicely.
  • Make all the spring rolls similarly, now it is ready for deep frying.
  • Heat Oil for frying when it get's heated put the spring rolls one by one and make sure that oil should not be very hot.
  • Turn the sides after every 30-40 seconds and cook it untill it gets Golden Brown and crispy from every sides, Now it is ready so drain the excess oil and take it out in a kitchen napkin.
  • In a Mixture blender add around 4-5 green chillies, some coriander leaves, little bit of salt, 1 tsp sugar, Vinegar, dark soya sauce, green chili sauce and little bit of tomato ketchup and Blend it to make a nice chutney from it.
  • Now Chutney is also ready so take it out in a small bowl.
  • Divide all the spring rolls in two parts in cross shape with the help of sharp knife.
  • Now the delicious Spring rolls are ready garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve it with delicious Chutney.
