Dakor Na gota is an ethnic, marvelous quick snack for a quick fix time, hails from a Gujarati village dakor of kheda which is known for its devotion in the people. For making this Indian snack recipe you don’t have to fall in deep botheration for grinding and fermentation and all and all.

For the perfectly made dakor Na gotta, you will just need is besan (gram flour), semolina, ginger-green chili paste and some Indian spices. Considering spongy outer cottages, soda-bi-card should be added. It can be use as packed snack for picnic and travelling. It goes well with the pudina chutney or tomato ketchup and the main thing about this dish is that the ingredients used in this are homey at all and appeals for all age group.

It is shatter at outside and silken at inside. Drizzling in rainy days and dews of wintery days will raise the delight of this gota with the sipping of garama-garam (hot) tea.  It is a plenary snack that suits for any festive season like holi, deepavali, ganesh chaturthy. Ingredients for Dakor Na Gota:

1 Cup Coarsely Grinded Wheat Flour.
2 Cups Gram Flour.
2 Cups of Milk.
2 tbsp Coriander Leaves.
2 tbsp Coarsely Crushed Coriander Seeds and Black Pepper.
2 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
2 tsp Turmeric Powder.
1 tbsp Ginger Chilli Paste.
2 tbsp Curd.
Salt to Taste.
1 tbsp Oil.
1 tbsp Sugar.
Pinch of Baking Soda.
Oil for Deep Frying.

How to Make Dakor Na Gota:

Step 1.

First of all in a big mixing bowl add wheat flour, gram flour, coriander leaves, coriander seeds and black pepper seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger chilli paste, curd, sugar, baking soda and oil.

Step 2.

Mix all the ingredients well then add salt to taste again mix it well, now add little milk and mix till become nice poury consistency mixture and keep aside for 3 hours.

Step 3.

Heat oil in pan, take 1 tbsp hot oil and add to mixture and mix well, now dip the spoon in oil, take little mixture in spoon and put in oil.

Step 4.

Fry the dakor na gota for 5-6 minutes at a medium flame, when gota become dark brown colour take them out.
Serve the tempting dakor na gota and have it with tea or coffee or tomato ketchup.
