Ingredients For Dal Tadka Recipe.

100 gm 5 Mix Dal ( Pressure Cookered for 3 Vessels ).
1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Tomato.
4-5 Curry Leaves.
2 Roughly Chopped Green Chilies very hot.
2 Dry Chillies Red.
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds.
1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Onion.
1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder.
1/2 tsp Asafoetida.
1/2 tsp Sugar.
Pinch of Mustard Seeds.
Pinch of Turmeric Powder.
1 tsp Garam Masala.
1 tsp Garlic and Ginger Paste.
Salt to taste.
Oil.

Ingredients

  • 100 gm 5 Mix Dal Pressure Cookered for 3 Vessels .
  • 1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Tomato.
  • 4-5 Curry Leaves.
  • 2 Roughly Chopped Green Chilies very hot.
  • 2 Dry Chillies Red.
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds.
  • 1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Onion.
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder.
  • 1/2 tsp Asafoetida.
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar.
  • Pinch of Mustard Seeds.
  • Pinch of Turmeric Powder.
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala.
  • 1 tsp Garlic and Ginger Paste.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Oil.

Instructions

  • First a fall heat around 1 tbsp of Oil, when Oil get Heated add Mustard Seeds first, when mustard seeds starts popping add Onion, now add pinch of Turmeric Powder, Garlic and Ginger Paste, Red Chili Powder.
  • In this put Tomatoes and Finely Chopped Green Chillies, Sugar around 1/2 tsp, Garam Masala, stir this very well.
  • After cooking this spices for 20-30 seconds, add Dal, put very little salt in it. Now turn the heat off because it is almost ready, take this out in serving plate.
  • Take another pan and heat around 1 tbsp of Oil, when Oil gets Heated add Pinch of Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves and 2 Dry Red Chillies and also add Pinnch of Asafoetida ( Hing ) in it.
  • Now it is ready to give tadka to Dal. This is it Delicius Restaurant Style Dal Tadka is ready to serve.

 

Hello Friend’s Welcome to the World’s first Youtube cooking show from a Village, I am Nikunj Vasoya and today I am going to show you a very special and Restaurant Style Recipe of Dal Tadka, it is very popular Dal from India and everybody love to have this in Restaurant and even they cook often at their Home, I am also going to tell you some secret which they are using in the Restaurant, so let’s take a look at Ingredients one by one.
For the Dal Tadka I am using 5 mix Dal, I have taken 100 gm Raw Dal and boil it or cook it in a pressure cooker for 3 vessels, see the consistency, it is very important, your Dal should be liquid and not thick, 1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Tomato, 4-5 Curry Leaves, 2 Roughly Chopped Green Chilies very hot, 2 Dry chilies Red, 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds, 1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Onion, 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder, 1/2 tsp Asafetida, 1/2 tsp Sugar, pinch of Mustard Seeds, pinch of Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp Garam Masala, 1 tsp Garlic and Ginger Paste, Salt to taste and Oil.
I am going to tell you some Secret and some Technique which are very good to make Restaurant Style Recipe at Home, so you have to keep in mind while cooking this kind of Dal and they are using this method in Restaurant only, this method will enhance overall taste of your Dal.
First a fall heat around 1 tbsp of Oil, our Oil has get heated so in this I am going to add Mustard Seeds first, when mustard seeds starts popping add Onion, now add pinch of Turmeric Powder, Garlic and Ginger Paste, Red Chili Powder, in this put Tomatoes and Finely Chopped Green Chilies, Sugar around 1/2 tsp, Garam Masala, stir this very well, after cooking this spices for 20-30 seconds, add Dal, put very little salt in it because I have added Salt while boiling Dal, now turn the heat off because it is almost ready, take this out in serving plate and then we are going to make Tadka for it so this is it.
Now we are making Tadka, take another pan and keep the Dal a side, again heat around 1 tbsp of Oil, our Oil is ready so in this put Pinch of Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves and 2 Red Chilies and also add Pinch of Asafetida ( Hing ), now our tadka is ready to give tadka to Dal.
So this is it my very simple, easy and delicious Restaurant Style Dal Tadka is ready to serve, you can serve this with Rice, you can also have this with Nan or Roti and it will definitely going to taste very good.
