Gulgula Recipe | Indian Style Donut.

Gulgula is nothing but the lightly sweetened mini donuts usually prepared for some occasions in India. This is really very simple and easy to make Indian snack which you can make in just quick time. Mainly it is prepared from wheat flour, powdered sugar and some spices. Gulgulas are prepared with two variations one is you can make with powdered sugar and another is jaggery and both tastes very unique and delicious.

All the required ingredients to make this quick gulgula recipe are very simple and commonly available in almost every kitchens of the world. This 5 ingredients recipe can be made any time during the day and serve alone as it don’t require anything else to have it with. In some parts of India people also make this sweet fritters using banana and in north India side this gulgulas are also known as pua.

This yummy and healthy festival recipe don’t take much time for preparations and cooking you just have to wait only for 10 minutes after preparing the wheat flour mixture to set then just fry and enjoy. Here you will see this recipe with very simple and easy method so you can make it at your home without any difficulties. Ingredients for Gulgula:

1 Cup Wheat Flour.
½ Cup Powdered Sugar.
¼ tsp White Sesame Seeds.
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder.
Oil for deep frying.

How to Make Gulgula:

Step 1.

First of all take a big mixing bowl then put wheat flour, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, sesame seeds and mix well.

Step 2.

Now add in water as per required and make thick consistency mixture from it, whip it nicely so there should be no lumps, keep the mixture aside for 10 minutes.

Step 3.

Now heat oil for deep frying, take little mixture in hand and directly put in oil, make small size ball shape of gulgula.

Step 4.

Fry the gulgulas till become nice golden brown, turn the sides so they can be cook nicely from every side.
Now take out the gulgulas in a serving plate and enjoy.
