INGREDIENTS FOR DAL FRY RESTAURANT STYLE

100 gm 5 Mix Dal ( Pressure Cookered for 3 Vessels ).
1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Tomato.
2 Hot Green Chilies.
1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Onion.
8-10 Curry Leaves.
Pinch of Mustard Seeds.
Pinch of Cumin Seeds.
1/2 tsp Garam Masala.
1 tsp Garlic and Ginger Paste.
1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder.
1/4th tsp of Asafoetida.
1/2 Turmeric Powder.
1/2 tsp Sugar.
Oil.
Salt to taste.

STEP 1.

Heat around 2 tbsp of Oil, when it get’s heated add Mustard seeds, when it starts Popping add Cumin Seeds, Pinch of Asafoetida ( Hing ), Curry Leaves and immediately put Onions.

STEP 2.
Now add Green Chillies, Turmeric Powder, now in this add Red Chili Powder, Salt and Sugar, stir all the things very well.

Now in this add the Tomatoes, Garlic and Ginger Paste, add the Garam Masala, now add Dal.

STEP 3.
after 1 minute it is almost ready so add Finely chopped Coriander Leaves and turn the heat off. Garnish it with simple Coriander Leaves.
