Quick instant rawa appam is mainly prepared from semolina or rawa (rava), some vegetables and spices. all the required ingredients to make this yummy and healthy breakfast recipe are very simple and commonly available in grocery shops. Semolina is a very common and very healthy ingredient which is used in many Indian snacks, fast foods and main course recipes. Rawa or semolina is a great energy source, helps in weight loss and good for digestion is well.

Ingredients for Instant Rawa Appam:

150 gm Semolina or Rawa.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Onions.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Carrot.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Capsicum.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Tomatoes.
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Chilli Paste.
2-3 tbsp Sour Curd.
Salt according to taste.
Some Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves..
½ tsp Cooking Soda.

For Tadka:

1 tsp Oil.
1 tsp Mustard Seeds.
6-7 Curry Leaves.
2 tsp Urad Dal.

How to Make Instant Rawa Appam:

Step 1.

Take one mixing bowl then add in carrot, capsicum, onion, tomatoes, ginger garlic chilli paste, coriander leaves and semolina.

Step 2.

Now add in sour curd, salt and water as per required and mix well and make thick batter from it, now add in cooking soda mix well and keep aside.

Step 3.

Now for making tadka, heat oil in a nonstick pan, add in mustard seeds and wait till it starts slathering then add in urad dal along with curry leaves and cook it for few seconds, now put the tadka in appam batter prepared from veggies and mix well.

Step 4.

Now take one paniyarm pan and heat on medium flame, now put around 1 tbsp batter on pan and cook it till become nice golden brown both the sides.
Take out the appam in a serving plate and serve with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup and enjoy.
