Kadai Paneer Video Recipe.

I am Nikunj Vasoya and today I am going show you a very interesting recipe of Paneer which is available almost in every Indian restaurant everywhere in India and outside India, this dish is known as Kadai Paneer, it is very popular recipe and everybody likes to order Kadai Paneer when they go to Restaurants, so let’s take a look at ingredients one by one.
Ingredients for Kadai Paneer Recipe.
For Paneer Kadai you will need 200gm Paneer Cubes, I am using Soya Paneer Cubes but you can use Regular Paneer, 200gm finely chopped Onions, 200gm finely chopped Tomatoes, one medium size chopped Capsicum, one Onion which I separated the layers, first I have divided Onion in 1/4 and then separated the every layer, two tsp Ginger and Garlic Paste, Dried Fenugreek Leaves, 5 Cardamoms, half tsp Turmeric Powder, 2-3 tsp Red Chili Powder, 1 tsp Kitchen King Masala, 1 tsp Sugar, 2-3 tbsp Oil, some Fresh Cream, half Lemon, some Fresh Coriander Leaves and Salt to taste.
Secret of Making Best Kadai Paneer.
I have divided this Curry into two major steps. First a fall I am going to make Gravy and then Curry, in Indian Curries the Gravy is very important and I have simplified method to make gravy easily, so let’s start making gravy.
First of all I am adding Ginger and Garlic paste in oil, Onion, Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp Red Chili Powder, Tomatoes, Sugar and Salt. Mix everything very well so it will cook nicely, let it seem up for 2-3 minutes, add little bit of Water so we can make nice gravy from it, again stir it very well, so friends now our gravy is cooked, turn the heat off.

Now it’s the turn to make our gravy, I am adding 80% of it and saving remaining 20% for later use, now we have to make gravy from it and remember one thing never over blend it because it will not give good taste if it is over blend, it should have little crystals of onions and tomatoes, this is it our gravy is ready, so let’s start making Paneer Kadai.
How to make Best Kadai Paneer at Home?
First a fall I am going to heat the Oil, now our oil get heated, add the whole Cardamoms, it will release the taste of it in oil, add the onion and tomatoes, add red chili powder, dried fenugreek leaves and kitchen king masala, mix all the spices very well,
Now add the capsicum and onion, coat the onion and capsicum with the masala, now I am going to add our gravy, again stir it very well, add some water so it will cook everything perfectly, now add the Soya Paneer, you have to stir it now and then so it don’t stuck to bottom, our curry is 80% cooked so it’s time to add Fresh Cream, stir it very well, look at the color it is looking absolutely very delicious, again let it simmer up for 2-3 minutes, after adding cream you have to stir it very quickly otherwise it will stuck at bottom, now everything is cooked nicely so now I am squeezing the half Lemon again stir it.

Kadai Paneer Video Recipe
- 200 gms Paneer Cubes.
- 200 gms Onion.
- 200 gms Tomatoes.
- 1 Capsicum.
- 1 Small Onion.
- 2 tsp Garlic & Ginger Paste.
- 4 tbsp Oil.
- 4 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
- 5 Cardamoms.
- 1 tbsp Kitchen King Masala or Garam Masala.
- 3 tbsp Fresh Cream.
- 1 tsp Sugar.
- Some Dried Fenugreek leaves. Kasuri Methi.
- ½ Lemon.
- Salt to Taste.
- Fresh Coriander Leaves for Garnishing
- Copped Capsicum in to the cube shape and then divide onion ¼ and separate every leaves or layer of it.
- Heat Oil.
- Add Chopped Onions and Tomatoes.
- Now Add Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder(2 tsp), Salt and Sugar.
- Stir it very well.
- Add the Garlic and Ginger Paste and Mix it.
- Cook it for 5-7 min.
- Cool it down and Make puree from 80% of it. (Infect save 20% for latter use).
- Heat Oil in a Pan.
- Then add the Cardamoms.
- Then add Onion & Tomato Curry.( 20% that we have saved).
- Immediately add the Red Chili Powder, Kasuri Methi or Dried Fenugreek Leaves and Kitchen King or Garam Masala.
- Stir it very well.
- Then add the Onion & Capsicums.
- Again stir it very well.
- Now add the Gravy. Mix it very well and cook it for 1-2 mins.
- Then add the Gravy and very little water.
- Cook it for 1-2 mins.
- Add Paneer Cubes and again mix it.
- Cook it for further 2-3 mins.
- Now Add the Cream (single or double fat).
- Cook it for further 5-7 min.
- Squeeze ½ Lemon (optional).
- Add some freshly chopped coriander leaves and Turn the heat off.
- Serve it hot with Butter Naan, Paratha or Chapati.
