Ingredients for Khaman Dhokla Chaat:

For Khaman Dhokla:

1 Cup Split Bengal Gram or Chana Dal.
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Chilli Paste.
1/8 tsp Turmeric Powder.
¼ tsp Soda.
1 Pouch of Fruit Salt or Eno.
Salt according to taste.
Oil for Greasing.

For Chaat:

10-12 Khaman Dhokla Pieces.
1 tbsp Green Chutney.
1 tbsp Jaggery Tamarind Chutney.
1 tsp Garlic Chutney.
1 tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.
1 tbsp Masala Peanuts.
1 tsp Chaat Masala.
2-3 tbsp Sweet Curd.
2 tbsp Besan Sev.
1 tbsp Sweet and Spicy Chavanu (Chivda).

How to Make Khaman Dhokla Chaat:

 Step 1.

First of all soak chana dal in water for 5-6 hours then take out from water and wash it twice or thrice with clean water, now grind in mixture blender coarsely, while grinding add 1-2 tbsp water.
After grinding dal add salt as per taste and keep side for 3 hours so yeast can be formed.

Step 2.

Now heat water in a steamer and grease a plate with oil and put in steamer, now take chana dal and add in ginger garlic chilli paste, soda and mix well, when water of steamer starts boiling add eno or fruit salt in chana dal batter and mix well then put in greased plate.

Step 3.

Now cover the steamer and steam for 12-15 minutes, after 12-15 minutes check the dhokla by putting knife if knife comes out clean then dhokla is ready take out in a plate and let it cool.

Step 4.

Now take a serving plate and first put khaman dhokla pieces then put some green chutney, garlic chutney, jaggery tamarind chutney on it then put some sweet curd, masala peanuts, coriander leaves, chivda and finally sprinkle some chaat masala on it and garnish with some besan sev and serve.
