Masala pav is a very famous Indian street food recipe from a well known Indian state Mumbai. You will find this unique and mouth clicking street fast food dish exclusively at street food shops and carts in Mumbai. Mainly it is prepared from Pav (Soft Indian Bread), onions, tomatoes, capsicum and some other spices. This is really very simple and easy to make plus requires very less time to cook is well. Ingredients for Masala Pav:

3 Pav.
1 Finely Chopped Onion.
1 Finely Chopped Capsicum.
1 Finely Chopped Tomato.
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Chilli Paste.
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder.
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
1 tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala.
½ tsp Lemon Juice.
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves.
Groundnut Oil for roasting pav.
Salt as per taste.
2 tbsp Oil.

How to Make Masala Pav:

Step 1.

First of all heat oil in a non stick pan then add in onions and saute for little time then add in capsicum, ginger garlic chilli paste and saute for little time.

Step 2.

Now add in turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, pav bhaji masala and saute all the spices for little time then add in tomatoes and cook for little time.

Step 3.

Now add in about 3-4 tbsp water so spices don’t get burnt and get cooked nicely, now add in lemon juice and cook it till it starts leaving oil at edges.

Step 4.

When veggies mixture starts leaving oil at edges turn the heat off, now make cut in all three pav using knife then stuff them with veggies mixture.

Step 5.

 Now heat a non stick tawa then put some groundnut oil and about 1 tsp veggies mixture and roast the stuffed pav both the sides.

Step 6.

Now take out the masala pav in a serving plate and serve with some raw onion-tomato and tomato ketchup and enjoy.
