Masala Toast Video Recipe.

Gujarati Food has become very popular and I think now it is the time to make it look like a modern or new generation food. In Gujarati cuisine most of the dishes are really very interesting because it has all the taste elements. Masala Toast Recipe is one of them.

In this recipe Nikunj Vasoya given a twist to your regular toast with some Gujarati Falvoues and Ingredients. Ingredients For Masala Toast Recipe.

3 Slices of White Breads.
50 gm of Masala Pea Nuts.
200 gm of Boiled Potatoes.
Finely Chopped Tomatoes.
1 Finely Chopped Green Chili.
1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Onion.
Butter.
1 tsp of Garlic and Ginger Paste.
Green Chutney.
Red Chutney.
1 tsp of Garam Masala.
1/4th tsp of Turmeric Powder.
1 tsp of Red Chili Powder.
Lemon Juice of half Lemon.
Some Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves.
1 tsp of Sugar.
1 tbsp of Oil.
Salt to taste.

Ingredients

  • 3 Slices of White Breads
  • 50 gm of Masala Pea Nuts
  • 200 gm of Boiled Potatoes
  • Finely Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 Finely Chopped Green Chili
  • 1 Medium Size Finely Chopped Onion
  • Butter
  • 1 tsp of Garlic and Ginger Paste
  • Green Chutney
  • Red Chutney
  • 1 tsp of Garam Masala
  • 1/4 th tsp of Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp of Red Chili Powder
  • Lemon Juice of half Lemon
  • Some Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tsp of Sugar
  • 1 tbsp of Oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tbsp of oil, when Oil get heated add finely chopped Onions, 1/4th tsp of Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder, Sugar, Salt then Tomatoes, Green Chilies. Stir all the things very well.
  • Now in this add Ginger and Garlic Paste, Garam Masala now put Boiled Potatoes, don't cook it too much because we need Crunch of Onions in this.
  • Now our Potato mixture is almost ready so in this add Lemon Juice, again mix this very well and turn the heat off.
  • Add freshly chopped Coriander Leaves, again mix all the things very well and Mash the Potatoes so you can have very nice Mixture, let it cool down.
  • Pre-Heat the Oven, divide all the Breads into two parts, apply Butter on each Slice of Bread, put very little Green Chutney on every slice then the Red one.
  • Now spread Chutney equally, now our Toast is ready so put Potato Mixture on every slice of bread, now our Toast is ready.
  • Cook it in a Microwave Oven for 9 minutes at 230 Degrees at Maximum Temperature, check the Toast after 6-7 minutes, after 9 minutes it is ready so take it out and let it cool down for just 1-2 minutes.
  • Put some Masala Pea Nuts over it and single leaf of Coriander on each slice of Toast, serve this Toast with Tomato Ketchup or Chutney of your choice.

 

Hello friend’s Welcome to the World’s First Youtube cooking show from a Village, I am Nikunj Vasoya and Today I am going to show a very interesting Gujarati style recipe which you can make it in a Microwave Oven, it is really very and it is seriously very good in taste and I personally like this kind of food very much because it gives a very unique flavour as compared to the other dishes which we are cooking on the gas or by other method so let’s take a look at Ingredients one by one.
Today I am going to make Gujarati Masala Toast, for Gujarati Masala Toast you will need 3 slices of White Breads, but you can use any kind of Bread that you have, around 50 gm of Masala Pea Nuts, 200 gm of Boiled Potatoes, finely chopped tomatoes, 1 finely chopped Green Chili, 1 medium size finely chopped Onion, Butter, 1 tsp of Garlic and Ginger Paste, Here I have Green Chutney and Red Chutney this is made from Green Chili, coriander and Garlic and this Red Chutney made from Garlic and Red Chilies, 1 tsp of Garam Masala, 1/4th tsp of Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp of Red Chili Powder, Lemon Juice of half Lemon, some Freshly chopped Coriander Leaves, 1 tsp of Sugar, 1 tbsp of Oil and Salt to taste.
First a fall I am going to make Masala with the Boiled Potatoes, first start the Gas, in this add 1 tbsp of Oil, I am using Ground Nut Oil here because we Gujarati people love make Food with the Ground Nut Oil but you can use any kind of Oil that you have Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil is not bad with this recipe but if you really want to get original Gujarati Taste then always use the Ground Nut Oil for the better Flavor and Taste. In this first a fall put the Onions, finely chopped Onions, now in this add 1/4th tsp of Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder, Sugar, Salt then Tomatoes, Green Chilies, stir all the things very well, now in this add Ginger and Garlic Paste, don’t cook it too much because we need crunch of Onions in it, add Garam Masala now put Boiled Potatoes, now our Potato Mixture is almost ready so in this add Lemon Juice, again mix this very well and turn the heat off, add freshly chopped Coriander Leaves, again mix all the things very well, you have to Mash the Potatoes like this way so you can have very nice Mixture and you can equally spread on Breads, let it cool down then we are going to make our Toast.
If you don’t have Masala Pea Nuts then don’t worry about it, you can make it at Home also, just get the Salty Pea Nuts and remove the Skin and Heat around half tsp of Oil and in that add Turmeric Powder, Red Chili and Coriander and Cumin Seeds Powder and then put the Pea Nuts and Mix all the things very well and you will get this kind of Masala Pea Nuts, you can also add the Sugar to make it little Sweet, Sour and Spicy.
So Friend’s first a fall Pre-Heat the Oven, now make the Toast, first divide the Breads into two parts like this way, here I have Six pieces of Bread, apply Butter on each Slice of Bread like this way, put very little Green Chutney on every slice, now the Red one, you can add this Red Chutney or Garlic Chutney according to your taste, it is not too much spicy so you don’t have to be worried about, you can get this kind of Chutney at Super Market also, if you don’t this kind of Chutney at Super Market then you can also make it at Home, just you have to do things as I say, First a fall Soak Whole Red chilies in to the Water for at least 2-3 Hours, then blend it with the Garlic in Mixture Grinder.
Now spread Chutney equally like this way, you can also make this kind of Green Chutney at Home, I had also Shared the recipe of Gujarati Green Chutney on the Foodontv network channel so you can watch that recipe also, we Gujarati really love the Chutneys and we make lots of different kinds of Chutneys from extremely spicy to sweet.
Now our Toast is ready so I am going to put Potato Mixture on it, Usually it takes 8-10 minutes to cook it in Oven but it depends on how much Butter you have applied Because if you applied less Butter then it may get burnt easily so it will don’t take 8-10 minutes, it may be ready in 6-7 minutes but I add lot’s of Butter so it will take around 8-10 minutes to cook it in Oven.
On every Slice put Potato Mixture this way, do the same thing with remaining slices, if you left the Potato Mixture unused then don’t worry about it, you can use it for next 2nd or 3rd day, just keep it in a Freeze, in an air tight container so it will give the same taste and it enhance the taste after 1-2 days, see now our Toast is ready so I am going to bake it in a Oven for 8-10 minutes, place your Toast like this way, now cook it in a Microwave Oven for 8-10 minutes, our oven get heated so put it in oven, I am cooking it at 230 Degrees at Maximum Temperature for 9 minutes, you can check the Toast after 6-7 minutes but I have given it 9 minutes time so I think it will be the perfect one, just 30-40 sec are left, we are not giving it rest time, take it out and let it cool down for just 1-2 minutes and then we are going to serve this when it becomes crispy.
Now it is the time to serve our Gujarati Style Toast, put some Masala Pea Nuts over it on each slice, and single leaf of Coriander on each slice, so this is it my very Simple, Easy and Delicious Gujarati Masala Toast is ready to serve, you can serve this Toast with Tomato Ketchup or Chutney of your choice.
Now it is the time of tasting, see it is very crispy even I am just gripping it from the edge you can see how crispy it is, Toast is absolutely crispy and give the really very good flavor of Masala and with this Pea Nut it is really very good and it is also giving very nice flavor of both the Chutneys that we have spread in the Bottom of it.
