Mirchi Bhajji or chilli fritters is a very special Indian fast food or snack recipe made from raw green chillies and besan or gram flour, it tastes really very yummy little crunchy from outside and soft from inside. Ingredients for Mirchi Bhajji:
5-6 Green Chillies.
150 Grams Besan or Gram Flour.
½ tsp of Asafoetida.
Pinch of Baking Soda.
Oil for deep frying.
Salt to taste.
How to Cook Mirchi Bhajji:
Step 1.
First of all cut the chillies lengthwise from centre in two parts (Don’t remove seeds and stems).

Step 2.
In a mixing bowl put besan or gram flour, now add asafoetida, salt, baking soda and little water (add water as per requirement).

Mix it nicely and make consistence and little thick batter.

Step 3.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Put all the chillies in batter so it gets coated with batter, put chillies in hot oil one by one for frying.

Step 4.
Cook it 50% and then take it out raw, give it rest for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5.
Again fry it, this time fry it in very hot oil until it became golden brown and crispy from every side.

Take it out and serve it hot with dates chutney or any other chutney of your choice.
