Ingredients for Moong Dal Cheela Rolls:

For Cheela:

100 gm Split Green Grams or Moong Dal Soaked in Water for 8 Hours.
3 Green Chillies.
4-5 Garlic Cloves.
2 Inch Ginger Piece.
Salt according to taste.
Oil as per required.

For Stuffing:

3 tbsp Thinly Chopped Cabbage.
2 tbsp Thinly Chopped Carrot.
2 tbsp Thinly Chopped Capsicum.
1 tbsp Oil.
1/8 tsp Rock Salt or Kala Namak.
¼ tsp Chaat Masala.
¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder.

For Green Chutney:

Some Coriander Leaves.
1 tbsp Raw Peanuts.
1 tbsp Roasted Split Bengal Gram.
Salt as per taste.
1 tsp Lemon Juice.
2-3 tbsp Water.

How to Make Moong Dal Cheela Rolls:

Step 1.

First of all take a mixer jar and put coriander leaves, raw peanuts, roasted split Bengal gram, lemon juice, salt and water, now blend it and make green chutney.

Step 2.

Now in another mixer jar put soaked split green grams, garlic cloves, ginger, green chillies, some water and blend it to make batter then take out in bowl and keep aside.

Step 3.

Now for making stuffing heat oil in a non stick pan then add in chopped cabbage, carrot, capsicum and cook veggies at high heat for little time.

Step 4.

Now lower the heat and add in red chilli powder, rock salt or kala namak, chaat masala and saute for 1 minute then immediately turn the heat off, veggies should be crunchy so don’t cook for more time, take out the stuffing in a bowl.

Step 5.

Now heat non stick tawa then put some Moong dal batter on it and spread nicely and give shape of cheela, now put some oil around the cheela and cook both side nicely and take out in a plate, make all the cheelas similarly.

Step 6.

 Now take one cheela then apply green chutney on it then put some stuffing on cheela and roll it, if roll gets open then tie it with a toothpick, make all the Moong dal cheela ready this way and serve.
