                           We definitely had lots of types of salad but this one is something different among them and taste really good. For making the Indian snacks recipe, you have to follow just our simple step by step instructions and all the ingredients for this are like flattened rice, tomatoes, potato and some other few ingredients.

                           Making poha salad is just an easy and simple method and it will not take a long time then other dishes. Even if you have a certain guests at home, you can definitely go for this one to serve as a starter. Ingredients for Poha:

150 Gram Poha or Flattened Rice.
1 Finely Chopped Tomato.
1 Big Finely Chopped Potato.
2 tbsp Peanuts.
2 tbsp Cashew Nuts.
2 tbsp Raisins.
3-4 Finely Chopped Green Chillies.
½ tsp Cumin Seeds.
½ tsp Mustard Seeds.
10-12 Curry Leaves.
½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
Salt according to taste.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.
2 tbsp Sugar.
1 tbsp Lemon Juice.
50 Gram Besan Sev.
2 tbsp Oil.

Ingredients for Salad:

2 tbsp Finely Chopped Cabbage.
1 tsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Beetroot.
2 tbsp Finely Chopped Tomato.

How to Make Poha Salad:

Step 1.

First of all wash the poha thrice in running water for 2 minutes, remember that don’t put the poha in water as it will become very soft so just wash in running water and keep aside.

Step 2.

Heat oil in a nonstick pan, when its get heated put mustard seeds and cumin seeds in and wait till they starts slathering, now add curry leaves and potato in and stir well.

Step 3.

Now add peanuts along with salt and cook it for 5 minutes at medium low heat, when potatoes get cooked nicely add green chillies, cashew nuts and raisins.

Step 4.

Now add in salt, turmeric powder and poha, mix all the spices and ingredients well then add in sugar, tomatoes and lemon juice and again mix well.

Step 5.

Now cover and cook the mixture for 5-6 minutes at medium low heat, stir it in between after every 2-2 minutes.
Now turn the heat off and add in coriander leaves and mix well, let it cool for few minutes keep aside.

Step 6.

For salad making, take a big mixing bowl add in cabbage, beetroot, coriander leaves and tomatoes and mix all the things well, salad is ready.

Step 7.

Now put little salad in poha and mix well, take out the poha in a serving plate, put some salad on poha then some besan sev and serve the delicious poha salad.
