Rajgira kheer is a super delicious vrat kheer for fast Indian days like navratri, janmashtmi and Ganesh chaturthi. It is highly nutritious and super rich in proteins. It is a perfect sweet kheer during vrat season because it provides wholesome nutrients to human body.

It is a nice in aroma and soft textured kheer. It is also contents fiber and iron. It is made with most of common ingredients like rajgira, ghee, milk, sugar and dry fruits. Little bit use cardamom powder will give a perfect mouth enhancing taste. This mouth melting kheer is an Indian sweet recipe for every age group.

It is so easy to make and it requires minimum time to make a perfect sweet dish for lunch or dinner or meal. It is a simple desert when you have a very less time to make a perfect meal thali for your guests or family members. With this rajgira kheer, some other kheer is also very popular among desert lovers like mango kheer, kaddu ki kheer and makhane ki kheer.

Ingredients for Rajgira Kheer:

½ Cup Puffed Rajgira.
4 Cups Milk.
2 Green Cardamoms.
½ Cup Sugar.
2 tbsp Ghee.
Some Blenched Almonds and Pistachios.

How to Make Rajgira Kheer:

Step 1.

First of all in a heavy bottom add milk and boil it, now reduce heat and let it simmer for half an hour, stirring continuously and reduces the milk.

Step 2.

Crush green cardamoms with sugar, in another pan heat ghee, add rajgira and roast slightly.
Now add milk to it and bring it to boil, cook it for 5 minutes.

Step 3.

Now add cardamom powder, sugar and simmer for another 5 minutes, now add almonds and pistachios slices then stir well.
Now remove it from heat, serve it hot and enjoy the rajgira kheer.
