Sabudana namkeen or sago snack is one of the very healthy and delicious Indian snacks recipe. In india this namkeen is prepared at the time of festivals for fasting or vrat. Mainly it is prepared from sago, makhane, almonds, peanuts and some other healthy ingredients. During festivals this kind of namkeen and chivdas are exclusively available in markets but they are not much healthy and tasty as compared to the home made namkeen. All the required ingredients to make this quick sabudana namkeen are very simple and commonly available in grocery shops and markets. Not only for festival but you can make this in ordinary days also and have it with joy. Ingredients for Sabudana Namkeen:

200 gm Sago.
Some Makhana.
50 gm Almonds.
50 gm Peanuts.
Around 1 tbsp Raisins.
8-10 Small Pieces of Dry Coconut.
¼ tsp Black Pepper.
2 tsp Powdered Sugar.
Halite or Sendha Namak as per taste.
Oil for frying.

How to Make Sabudana Namkeen:

Step 1.

First of all put around 1 tsp water in sago and mix well, keep sago aside for 5-7 minutes, now heat oil in a pan, when oil gets little hot add in almonds and fry them little then take out in plate.

Step 2.

Now in the same oil put peanuts and fry till it changes colour then take out in plate, now fry the makhanas in same oil for few seconds then take out in plate.

Step 3.

Now in the same oil fry the dry coconut pieces till become light golden brown in colour then take out in plate, now fry the sago in little hot oil till they cook nicely then take out in plate.

Step 4.

 Now take all the fried ingredients in a big bowl then add in raisins, black pepper, sendha namak and powdered sugar, now mix all the ingredients well with help of spoon, healthy and delicious sabudana namkeen is ready to serve.
