I’ve been traveling in Indian city since last 2 years, I learnt a lot from the expert who are making Indian street food and other fast food since last 20/30 years or more so it is really very good for me to know the recipes and some method which they are using since they begin their food business.

Vada Pav is one of the cheap food as well it is a very good in taste and anybody can afford it, it can satisfy your hunger in just 10 or 20 rupees so I think it maybe the thing which make Vada Pav very popular in the not just Mumbai but in almost every cities of India.

At many places they just serve Vada Pav with the tomato ketchup or green chutney and at some places in Gujarat with the fried green chili, but in Gujarat they have started serving it with the fried crispy chili fritters and now it has started becoming  very popular in the cities of Gujarat and people really enjoying it.

HOW TO COOK VADA PAV.

STEP 1.

Bombay Vada Pav Recipe
Batter for Vada Pav | Step-1 for Vada Pav

Take a mixing bowl add Gram Flour, pinch of Soda Bi-carb, Salt according to taste, mix it very well, add water and first make thick better and then make it thin, so our better is ready.

STEP 2.

Easy Indian Fast Food Recipe
Heat Oil | Step-2 for Vada Pav Making.

Heat around 1.5 tbsp of Oil for making potato mixture, when Oil get heated add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves, Turmeric Powder and immediately put the Potatoes and Salt.

Stir all the things very well so our Potato Mixture is ready, turn the heat off.

STEP 3.

Make Balls | Step-4 Vada Pav Recipe.

In a pan heat Oil for deep frying mean while make the Balls from Potato Mixture, try to make equal size and shape Balls.

Take a ball deep it in Better nicely, remove the access Better and fry it untill it get’s Golden Brown and Crispy from out side. when it is cooked take it out in a plate with kitchen napkin so it’ll absorb the access Oil.

STEP 4.

Quick Vada Pav Recipe from Mumbai
Put Chili Ring | Step-5 for Vada Pav Recipe.

Put all Chilly Rings into better and then fry it in same Oil, take it out when it is half cook because we’ll fry it second time to make it Crispier, again fry the Chilly Rings until it get’s Golden Brown and Crispy.

Take it out Drain all the access Oil and turn the heat off.

STEP 5.

Take a Pav cut it form a corner to end with Knife, put a Vada in it, press the Pav so you can get equal Vada in every bite.

So this is it our Vada pav is ready to serve. You can serve this with Green Chutney or Tomato Ketchup.

Ingredients

  • Ingredients For Vada Pav Recipe.
  • Pav 3
  • Roughly Chopped Boiled Potatoes 200 gm
  • Besan or Gram Flour 100 gm
  • Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
  • Chilly Rings 4-5 Chilies
  • Pinch of Soda Bi-carb
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Some Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry Leaves 8-10
  • Oil 1.5 tbsp
  • Water
  • Oil for deep frying Vada

Instructions

  • Take a mixing bowl add Gram Flour, pinch of Soda Bi-carb, Salt accourding to taste, mix it very well, add water and first make thick better and then make it thin, so our better is ready.
  • Heat around 1.5 tbsp of Oil for making potato mixture, when Oil get heated add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves, Turmeric Powder and immediately put the Potatoes and Salt.

  • So this is it our Vada pav is ready to serve. You can serve this with Green Chutney or Tomato Ketchup.

Notes

Make Crispy chili fritters for the better texture.
Make Green Chutney for better test.
Make Crispy Vada by frying is for second time after giving it a rest for at least 5 minutes.
