                          Sweet potato fries is another snack recipe specially made for fasting days like navratri, janmashtmi and ganesh chaturthi. it is an innovative variation French fries which is made from potatoes whereas fried sweet potatoes are made from sweet potato.

                           Sweet potatoes are cut into strips and fried into heated oil; you can take any oil to fry. You can also adapt any method either fry or bake into oven. Just sprinkle some little paprika onto fries and this sweet potato fries will definitely please your friends and family. You can also take it with tomato ketchup and for fast, you can skip it.

                         It is not only for fast; you can also take for a snack or brunch and serve as a starter to your lovely guests. They will surely love this sweet, spicy and tangy combination. Ingredients for Sweet Potato Fries:

1 Large Sweet Potato.
Oil for Frying.
Halite to Taste (Sendha Namak).

How to Make Sweet Potato Fries:

Step 1.

First of all cut sweet potato into long wedges like French fries then soak them in ice cold water for 1 to 2 hours at room temperature.

Step 2.

Now drain the water and pat dry potatoes with clean towel, heat oil in a kadai for deep frying, make sure that oil should be very hot.

Step 3.

Now put the wedges in oil, fry them until become golden brown, crispy and tender, now take them out in a tissue paper so the excess oil absorbs.

Step 4.

Keep them warm in the oven while frying remaining batches so it will not get soft, after frying all the fries take them in a bowl and spread few salt for seasoning and enjoy the fries.
