  • 1 Cup Idli Mixture.
  • 100 gram Boiled Green Peas.
  • 1 tsp ginger Chilli Paste.
  • ½ tsp Sesame Seeds.
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds.
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds.
  • ½ tsp Fennel Seeds.
  • 2 tsp Grated Dry Coconut.
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice.
  • 2 tsp Sugar.
  • Salt according to taste.
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala.
  • 2 tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves.
  • ½ Cup Coriander Chutney.
  • 1 tbsp Oil.


  • First of all heat a nonstick pan then add oil, when oil gets little hot add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and sesame seeds, let them slather.
  • When they starts slathering add ginger chilli paste and cook it little, now add boiled green peas and mix well with other spices.
  • Now add salt, sugar, garam masala and lemon juice and mix well than add grated coconut and coriander leaves, again mix well and take out the mixture a plate and let it cool.
  • Now make the small balls of round or heart shape from mixture using heart shape mould, now add little salt in idli mixture or better and mix well, make sure that idli better should be fermented.
  • Now grease the mould with oil and put in steamer and steam it for 5 minutes, now add ½ tbsp idli better in mould and steam it for another 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes put the balls in mould and cover all the balls with idli mixture nicely and steam it for 12-15 minutes, when it gets cooked unmould it and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • Now serve the delicious idli rasprise with green chutney and enjoy.
