Quick and Easy Chapati Patra Recipe.

  • 3 Chapatis.
  • 3 tbsp Gram Flour.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Chilli Paste.
  • ½ tsp Ajwain.
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds.
  • 1 tsp Sugar.
  • ½ tsp Lemon Juice.
  • 1/8 tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala.
  • Pinch of Cooking Soda.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • Tomato Ketchup for Serving.


  • First of all take gram flour in a bowl then add in salt, turmeric powder, garam masala, sugar, red chilli powder, lemon juice, ajwain, sesame seeds, cooking soda, ginger garlic chilli paste.
  • Now add water as per require and mix well all the ingredients to make thick batter from it, consistency of the batter should be like it can be spread easily.
  • Now take 1 chapati and put about 1 tbsp batter on it and with the help of spoon spread evenly, make sure that chapati should be covered with batter completely.
  • Now roll the chapati tightly then cut the chapati roll in 2 inch pieces, make all the chapati rolls this way.
  • Now heat oil in a kadai then fry all the chapati patra till become nicely golden brown then take out in a serving plate and serve with tomato ketchup.
