Palak Rolls Recipe | Crispy Spinach Rolls | Indian Starter

Quick and Easy Crispy Spinach Rolls Recipe.

  • 250 gm Spinach.
  • 100 gm Coarsely Grinded Wheat Flour.
  • 3 tbsp Semolina.
  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour.
  • 1 tbsp Spicy Garlic Chutney.
  • 2 tbsp Sour Curd.
  • Salt according to taste.
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Ginger and Green Chillies.
  • 1 Small Finely Chopped Onion.
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • 1 tsp Ajwain.
  • Oil for frying.


  • First of all chop the spinach and wash in running water then put in a strainer so excess water should be drain.
  • Now take wheat flour in a bowl then add in semolina, gram flour, ajwain, turmeric powder, garlic chutney, ginger, green chillies and mix well.
  • Now add in salt, sour curd and water as per required and bind it like a dough then keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes put onions and spinach in dough, mix well and make equal sizes of roll from entire dough.
  • Now heat oil in kadai, when oil gets heated put rolls in oil and fry for little time and take out, don’t fry them for long time, keep them aside to cool.
  • When rolls become cool again put them in oil, this time oil should be very hot, fry them till become nice golden brown and crispy, by doing this rolls will be more crispy.
  • Now take out the rolls in a serving plate and serve hot with sweet curd and enjoy.
