Soya Vadi Subzi Recipe | Soya Vadi Korma

Quick and Easy Soya Vadi Curry Recipe.

Ingredients

  • 50 gm Soya Chunks Vadi.
  • 2 Medium Size Finely Chopped Onion.
  • 1 Big Size Finely Chopped Tomato.
  • 3 tbsp Ginger Garlic Onion Paste.
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds.
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
  • ½ tsp Coriander Powder.
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala.
  • Salt according to taste.
  • 2-3 tbsp Oil.

Instructions

  • First of all take some lukewarm water in a bowl, put some salt and soya chunks in it, cover and keep aside for 15-20 minutes so that soya chunks will soak water and become soft, use best quality soya chunks because ordinary chunks may dissolve or get very soft in water.
  • After 15-20 minutes take out the soya chunks from water and press tightly with hands so excess water will remove, now heat oil in kadai they fry the soya chunks in hot oil till become light golden brown, now take out the soya chunks in a plate and keep aside.
  • Now take a mixer jar and add in 3 pieces of 1 inch ginger, 10-12 cloves, 1 roughly chopped onion, 2-3 tbsp water and blend all the things to make ginger garlic onion paste.
  • Now heat oil in a non stick pan, when oil gets heated add in cumin seeds and let them crackle, now add in onions and cook it till become transparent then add in ginger garlic onion paste, salt and cook it till it releases oil.
  • When oil releases from gravy add in salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, tomatoes and cook all the spices for little time.
  • Now add in water as per required, fried soya chunks and mix well, now lower the heat, cover and cook curry for 3-4 minutes, after 3-4 minutes open the lead add in garam masala again cover and cook for 1 minute.
  • After 1 minute turn the heat off and take out the delicious soya vadi curry in a serving plate and serve hot with chapatti, paratha or naan and enjoy.
