Ingredients

  • 200 gm Equal Size Chopped Potato.
  • 50-60 gm Punjabi Curd.
  • 1 Finely Chopped Tomato.
  • ½ tsp Mustard Seeds.
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds.
  • 1 Dry Red Chilli.
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Chilli Paste.
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves.
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala.
  • 2 tbsp Oil.
  • Salt according to taste.
  • Oil for frying Potatoes.
  • Ingredients for Masala:
  • 1 tbsp Peanuts.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds.
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder.
  • 1 tbsp Dry Bread Crums.

Instructions

  • First of all heat oil in a kadai, when oil gets heated put chopped potatoes in and fry till become soft then take out in a plate and keep aside.
  • Now take a mixer jar add in peanuts, turmeric powder, sesame seeds, red chilli powder, coriander powder and bread crums, blend all the spices coarsely to make a nice mixture.
  • Now heat oil in a non stick pan, when oil gets heated add in cumin seeds, mustard seeds and let them crackle, now add in dry red chilli, garlic chilli paste, spices mixture and lower the heat.
  • Cook it for 30-60 seconds, after cooking all the spices immediately add in water as per required so spices don’t get burnt, now add in fried potatoes and cook it till it releases oil.
  • Now add in finely chopped tomatoes, garam masala and cook for another 1 minute at medium low flame.
  • After 1 minute add curd and mix well, now turn the heat off and take out in a serving plate and garnish it with some coriander leaves and serve hot.
