Gulgula Recipe | Indian Style Donut

  • 1 Cup Wheat Flour.
  • ½ Cup Powdered Sugar.
  • ¼ tsp White Sesame Seeds.
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder.
  • Oil for deep frying.


  • First of all take a big mixing bowl then put wheat flour, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, sesame seeds and mix well.
  • Now add in water as per required and make thick consistency mixture from it, whip it nicely so there should be no lumps, keep the mixture aside for 10 minutes.
  • Now heat oil for deep frying, take little mixture in hand and directly put in oil, make small size ball shape of gulgula.
  • Fry the gulgulas till become nice golden brown, turn the sides so they can be cook nicely from every side.
  • Now take out the gulgulas in a serving plate and enjoy.
