Quick and Easy Fried Idli Recipe.

  • 12 Rava Idli Cut Into Small Pieces.
  • 3 Medium Size Tomato Puree.
  • Some Curry Leaves.
  • ¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
  • ¼ tsp Coriander Powder.
  • ¼ tsp Fennel Powder.
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • ¼ tsp Mustard Seeds or Rai Dana.
  • Pinch of Asafoetida.
  • 2 tbsp Oil.


  • First of all heat oil in pan, when oil gets little hot put in cumin seeds and asafoetida then add in turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennel powder, red chilli powder, curry leaves and tomato puree.
  • Mix all the ingredients very well then season with salt again mix well, cover and cook for few minutes till tomatoes get cooked nicely.
  • Finally add idli in it and mix with other spices and ingredients, now cover and cook for another 1 minute, after 1 minute turn the heat off mix it well and serve hot.
