  • 1 Large Sweet Potato.
  • Oil for Frying.
  • Halite to Taste Sendha Namak.


  • First of all cut sweet potato into long wedges like French fries then soak them in ice cold water for 1 to 2 hours at room temperature.
  • Now drain the water and pat dry potatoes with clean towel, heat oil in a kadai for deep frying, make sure that oil should be very hot.
  • Now put the wedges in oil, fry them until become golden brown, crispy and tender, now take them out in a tissue paper so the excess oil absorbs.
  • Keep them warm in the oven while frying remaining batches so it will not get soft, after frying all the fries take them in a bowl and spread few salt for seasoning and enjoy the fries.
