First of all in a deep pan warm up the milk then add sugar and cardamom powder in it and keep aside.
In another large bowl add maida, pinch of salt and 2 tsp hot oil and mix well, put this in milk and sugar mixture.
Mix it well and knead into stiff dough and not too soft or sticky, there is no need to rest dough.
Now make two equal portions of dough, roll it like roti but it should be 2-3 times thick then chapatti, roll it gently as the dough is stiff.
You will see the cracks when you roll the dough so don’t worry just seal it with your fingers and roll again, with the help of knife cut the roti into square or diamond shape.
