  • 1 Cup Chana Dal or Split Bengal Gram.
  • 3-4 Cup Milk.
  • 1 Cup Ghee.
  • 1 Cup Sugar.
  • 2 tbsp Loaf Sugar.
  • 1 Pinch of Cardamom Powder.
  • 4 Cashew Nuts.
  • 4 Almonds.
  • Pinch of Saffron.
  • Pinch of Dry Camphor.
  • Oil for Deep Frying.
  • Lemmon Yellow Colour Optional.
  • 1 tbsp Raisins.


  • First of all wash chana dal with water then soak it in 2 cup milk for 4-5 hours.
  • Now grind the chana dal roughly not too smooth, in a non stick pan heat ghee, add chana dal paste in it.
  • Roast it on slow flame till get in dry powder form like sooji, add cashew nuts, almonds roast both well.
  • Add remaining milk cook nicely while always stir it till ghee will separate then add sugar and cook well till sugar melt.
  • Now add freshly coursed cardamom powder, saffron thread, raisins, colour and mix well.
  • Now add dry camphor powder, make it cool and add loaf sugar on it and then make laddus or any shape and enjoy.
