White Sauce Recipe for Pasta

  • 2 tbsp Butter.
  • 2 tbsp Plain Flour or Maida.
  • 2 Cup Milk.
  • 3-4 tbsp Mozzarella Cheese.
  • Salt and Pepper Powder to Taste.
  • ¼ tsp Mixed Italian Herbs.
  • 1 Bay Leaf.
  • 3 Black Pepper.
  • 1 Cloves.


  • First of all in a pan heat milk, at the same time add bay leaf, black pepper and clove and bring it to boil then keep it aside.
  • In a non stick pan melt butter on low flame, add maida and saute till it changes colour slightly and will get good aroma.
  • Now add ½ cup of room temperature milk and stir continuously with a whisk so you will not get lumps.
  • After sometime when it starts thickening add remaining milk, gradually stir it continuously with the whisk.
  • Cook it till it starts boiling then reduce the flame add grated cheese, salt, pepper powder and herbs to taste.
  • Now cook it for 3-4 minutes then remove from the flame.
  • Make sure the sauce consistency will not much thick or much watery because after it come on room temperature sauce will thicken, enjoy with pasta or sandwiches.
