Dakor na Gota | Gujarati Recipe

  • 1 Cup Coarsely Grinded Wheat Flour.
  • 2 Cups Gram Flour.
  • 2 Cups of Milk.
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves.
  • 2 tbsp Coarsely Crushed Coriander Seeds and Black Pepper.
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
  • 2 tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Chilli Paste.
  • 2 tbsp Curd.
  • Salt to Taste.
  • 1 tbsp Oil.
  • 1 tbsp Sugar.
  • Pinch of Baking Soda.
  • Oil for Deep Frying.


  • First of all in a big mixing bowl add wheat flour, gram flour, coriander leaves, coriander seeds and black pepper seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger chilli paste, curd, sugar, baking soda and oil.
  • Mix all the ingredients well then add salt to taste again mix it well, now add little milk and mix till become nice poury consistency mixture and keep aside for 3 hours.
  • Heat oil in pan, take 1 tbsp hot oil and add to mixture and mix well, now dip the spoon in oil, take little mixture in spoon and put in oil.
  • Fry the dakor na gota for 5-6 minutes at a medium flame, when gota become dark brown colour take them out.
  • Serve the tempting dakor na gota and have it with tea or coffee or tomato ketchup.
