  • ½ Cup Puffed Rajgira.
  • 4 Cups Milk.
  • 2 Green Cardamoms.
  • ½ Cup Sugar.
  • 2 tbsp Ghee.
  • Some Blenched Almonds and Pistachios.


  • First of all in a heavy bottom add milk and boil it, now reduce heat and let it simmer for half an hour, stirring continuously and reduces the milk.
  • Crush green cardamoms with sugar, in another pan heat ghee, add rajgira and roast slightly.
  • Now add milk to it and bring it to boil, cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Now add cardamom powder, sugar and simmer for another 5 minutes, now add almonds and pistachios slices then stir well.
  • Now remove it from heat, serve it hot and enjoy the rajgira kheer.
