Tawa Pulao Recipe

Tawa Pulao is one of the quick Indian vegetarian rice dish to make.

  • 250 gm Boiled Rice.
  • 3 Medium Size Finely Chopped Tomatoes.
  • 1 Medium Size Chopped Green Capsicum.
  • 2 tbsp Corn Boiled for 2 Minutes and Strained.
  • 2 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala.
  • ¾ tsp Cumin Seeds.
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Oil.


  • Heat 2 tbsp oil, when it gets little hot add cumin seeds, tomatoes and little salt so tomatoes can be cook faster. (If you like it bit sweet then you can add 1 tsp powder sugar along with tomatoes).
  • Now cover it and cook it for about 1 and half minutes.
  • When tomatoes get half cooked add capsicum and corn and cook it little.
  • Now add pav bhaji masala, red chilli powder and mix it well, cover it and cook it for a minute at a medium low heat.
  • Add 1 tbsp water and mix it well then add rice and saute it till rice are evenly covered with masala and cook it for just a minute.
  • Now turn the heat off and serve it hot.
