Fried Arbi ki Subzi | Indian Curry Recipe.

Fried Arbi ki Subzi is an authentic and traditional Indian curry recipe.

  • 350 gm Colocasia Roots or Arbi.
  • ½ tsp Ajwain or Carom Seeds.
  • ¾ tsp Garam Masala.
  • ¾ tsp Coriander Powder.
  • ¾ tsp Fennel Seeds Powder.
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder.
  • ½ tsp Amchoor.
  • Pinch of Ajinomoto.
  • Salt to Taste.
  • Oil.


  • Heat oil in a pan, When its get heated add Colocasia or arbi and fry it until it become golden brown.
  • Take it out in a plate.
  • Again heat oil in a pan, when it gets heated add carom seeds and Asafoetida and roast it for few seconds.
  • Add turmeric powder, fennel seeds powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, Amchoor and salt to taste.
  • Mix all the ingredients very well and add few drops of water.
  • Add arbi and mix it very well and cover the arbi with entire spices.
  • If you feel that it is dry then add little water in it.
  • Cook it for further few minutes.
  • Now the yummy fried arbi ki subzi is ready, serve it hot.
