Lemon Rice Recipe is one of the yummy Indian rice dish which you can make in just few minutes.
- 4 Cup Boiled Rice.
- 25 gm Peanuts.
- Few Curry Leaves.
- 3 Whole Red Chillies Seedless and broken in Pieces.
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
- 4 tsp Lemon Juice.
- 1 tsp Split Bengal Gram.
- 1 tsp Skinless Split Black Gram.
- ¾ tsp Mustard Seeds.
- Pinch of Asafoetida.
- Salt to taste.
- 2 tbsp Oil.
Heat oil in a pan, when it gets heated add mustard seeds and split Bengal gram and saute it for couple of minutes or until it become golden brown.
Now add whole red chilli, asafoetida, turmeric powder and curry leaves and mix all the things very well.
Add rice and mix it gently so rice don’t break, now add salt and mix it till all the spices cover all the rice grains evenly.
Once the rice are light yellow in colour add peanuts and mix it very well.
Now add lemon juice in and again mix it well.
Turn the heat off (don’t cook rice after adding lemon juice in it) and serve it hot.
