Khichadi Recipe.

Khichadi is one of the light food which you can have in your dinner or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 50 gm Rice.
  • 50 gm Split Moong Dal.
  • ½ tsp Asafoetida.
  • 2 Glass Water.
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
  • Salt to Taste.

Instructions

  • First of all heat 2 glass of water with turmeric powder and salt (according to taste).
  • When water started bubbling add rice and split moong dal in it and cover it and cook it for three vessels.
  • After cooking it for few minutes or three vessels turn the heat off and let it cook on its steam inside the pressure cooker for little time.
  • Add asafoetida in it and serve it hot with choice of your curry or gujarati curry whatever you like.
