Khichadi is one of the light food which you can have in your dinner or lunch.
- 50 gm Rice.
- 50 gm Split Moong Dal.
- ½ tsp Asafoetida.
- 2 Glass Water.
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
- Salt to Taste.
First of all heat 2 glass of water with turmeric powder and salt (according to taste).
When water started bubbling add rice and split moong dal in it and cover it and cook it for three vessels.
After cooking it for few minutes or three vessels turn the heat off and let it cook on its steam inside the pressure cooker for little time.
Add asafoetida in it and serve it hot with choice of your curry or gujarati curry whatever you like.
