In one mixing bowl add Gram Flour or Besan, Salt, Soda Bicarbonate and Carom Seeds (ajwain).
Mix it nicely with soft hands.
Add 2 tbsp Oil and water and make a soft and rubber like a soft and strechable dough.
After making dough knead it with more 1 tbsp oil until your dought don’t break.
Heat Oil.
Now on a wood shit or a Pasta roller make 2 inch wide and 1 ft long strips of that dough which should be think like double size of a paper.
Take little dough and put it on flate wood, then press it with your pam and roll a long and thin Fafda. Run the knife in between wood and fafda from one end to remove it from wood.(See step photos).
In meadium hot oil fry your fafda. Cook it for few minutes at a very low heat, take it out and sprinkle little Asafoetida on each fafda.
It should not change its color. If its changes it’s not perfect. Your oil may be too much hot or you have added more soda bicarbonate.
